    Changes to Workers Compensation Legislation
    Amendments have been made to the Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act which will commence from 1 July 2012. Amongst the amendments is a new definition of a worker for workers compensation purposes.

    Volunteer Assistance Package
    A new volunteer assistance package is available to provide guidance and support to volunteers and volunteer organisations who may be affected by the new work health and safety (WHS) laws. The package was developed by Safe Work Australia in partnership with Volunteering Australia.
